Subway to Little Tokyo

Our Danger Boys

Little Tokyo Mall

Ride the subway to Little Tokyo from the SFV just to play with some rocks?!

Restaurants are not so fun at times

Ever have the feeling you're being watched?

Make it stop.

Hmmmm..,

I know what you mean.

Grand Central Station

Took a subway ride to Little Tokyo downtown LA (for those not in lala land).  Had fun, the subway ride was the point of this trip though we had a nice lunch at a local spot and walked around a bit.

LACMA

Friends from Nebraska, Pam and Scott, came by for a visit and we went to LACMA to see a car exhibit and G had fun just running around a big sculpture.

Fire! Fire!

A surprise visit from Auntie Suzy and Rosie who brought a surprise presents for the boys, firefighter inspired rain slickers.  They look enough like the real thing that the boys went crazy, esp the big one, enough to pose for the camera.

Autry National Center

Boys in the saddle

Diaper rash or saddle sore?

Old fire wagon

We're RICH!

Brought the kids to the Autry National Center.  It was the first time that we all have been there.  Cool old western artifacts on display.  The cowboy and western culture seemed even more of memory of the past.  Late last year, we went to get Jennifer some cowboy boots (that's why I'm more in line now, ha).  The western store sold cap gun for kids.  It was such a throwback to see cap guns.  I remember having guns and mini bombs that you could load up with caps.

The boys went panning for gold.  Jennifer turns out to be quite a good panner.  I think we'll sell the house and move out to Alaska.  See you on Discovery Channel!
