Ronald Reagan Presidential Library

Shorter than Nancy, how sad

Little boy, big plane

Big wheels, little boy

Oval Office replica with bad photo stitching (foreground couch) but still fun
Riding with Ron on a horse with no legs

Awesome visit to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library.  I haven't visited in at least 10 years and Jennifer and the boys have never been to see it.  New attraction includes Air Force One that served several presidents, Marine One, and an F-14 which we didn't visit.  Holiday display included menorahs that were gifted to the Reagans over the years and Xmas tree celebrating specific eras.  The Air Force One area was were one of the republican debates took place earlier this year.  It was very surprising to see low key the interior appointments of Air Force One were.  Rather plain wood tables, vinyl seat covers, and a small kitchen.  We were not allowed to photograph the interior.  Also awesome was the exact reproduction of Reagan's oval office.  Boys had a fun time and I love my pic with Nancy and Ron and the family souvenir pic boarding Air Force One.

Legoland

Be Afraid: Evidence that there are dinosaurs amongst us

Ah, nothing gets me paranoid than the thought of all those germs, especially since S just recovered from a nasty virus days earlier.

Oops, first accident

Factory tour was weak, just a lead to another store

San Diego Vice's Crockett and Tubbs

We went to Legoland for the first time with the boys.  This was their first amusement park of any kind.  They loved it.  However, I think they also had a bit of sensory overload too.  We decided to go to the park for two days but I think one day was enough for both boys.  The first day was the 1.5hr drive from LA to Carlsbad, check into the hotel, and take a shuttle to the park.  The kids loved the 5 hours we stayed, doing dinosaur digs, riding boats, planes and automobiles.  Very kid friendly for the younger kids.  Wasn't so busy the first day, a Thursday, and was much busier on Friday.  The second day they just seemed tired not wanting to go on rides.  Kid of course got some Legos (don't go to the big store at the front at the end of the day like we did) and Jennifer and I feel like we survived our first amusement milestone.

Photo note: I don't like iTTL, rrrrr!
