Japan Tokyo 2 - Cooking Class, Pig Cafe and Team Labs

Day 2 was cooking class and Day 3 was shopping (actually there were many shopping days)!  Pig cafe was fun and different but we booked too long, 1hr.  Team Labs was fun too.  And shopping!

Our hotel, Millennium Mitsui Garden, lobby view to Harumi Dori Ave

We left sleepy boys in the hotel while J and I went to a Starbuck reserve in Ginza

Ginza garage

J my LV girl

2nd floor tables with mostly locals

Cooking class with Yuko, this was fun

Bonito flakes to make our Dashi

We made and ate 8 different dishes from scratch

Showing off our knife skills

Dashimaki Tamago

Mini Dorayaki

Wagyu Sukiyaki
Yuko was an awesome instructor

Back to Harajuku and a pig cafe

These guys were grumpy and snappy (bit J when she tried to move them)

Nicer

Never too cool for pigs

Konbini, our favorite was Lawsons and we visited most every night for desert and breakfast food the next day

Nice pen! Awesome soy in the lattes

What!  No GTRs at Nissan Crossing!  Nissan Crossing in the Sony building was big and unusual enough looking on the outside that it became our landmark to our hotel, just a block away.  A3 near Nissan or A2 across the street from our hotel were our home stations for the subways

Someone went shopping at Nintendo Shibuya and got some vintage pants from Rag Tag Harajuku

I like to pinch

Taking a break from the big shopping day in Ginza

Weird lift up to Lemon Camera (disappointing), we called it the Yakuza elevator lined with plastic sheeting

Sushi! on the 3rd floor with low seats on tatami mats at the old fish market district.  Awesome!

Waiting for out exact time we are allowed to stand in queue for Team Labs.  The times assigned in Japan in general are observed to the minute
