Japan 7 - Kyoto to Hakone

Heading up a mountain with our amazing guide Hiro.  He's retired sales executive who has traveled the world, lived in NY, and is a fun and interesting person.

First we took a bus, then a train with one of the steepest routes switchbacking several time, and then this gondola.  We would later take a boat across a lake.

This is an active crater that caused the gondola to shut down for several years around 2007
